Contract/travel opportunity in Brasstown, NC starting 05/25/2026. Full-time days (8-hour shift) 5:00 AM–1:30 PM with every-other-Saturday coverage (6:15 AM–8:30 AM). Compensation: $1,932 per 40-hour week.
We are seeking a licensed Counselor with LCAS credentialing (required) or actively pursuing NC licensure. Candidates must have experience working with opiate-addicted populations and a strong skill set in assessments, application of ASI criteria for placement, treatment planning and implementation, service coordination, and crisis intervention. Familiarity with local drug trends, physiological and cognitive effects of substances, signs of narcotic overdose, psychosocial impacts of addiction, the addiction and recovery process, and related social, economic, legal, and medical systems is essential. Knowledge of HIV transmission and the health, behavioral, and emotional consequences of substance use is also required. Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred. North Carolina licensure required.
