Job Description

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative and well-supported team just outside of Orlando, Florida. This full-time, hospital-based position offers a balance of compensation, flexibility, and lifestyle, making it an ideal opportunity for both experienced physicians and new graduates

Position Highlights

  • Primarily supervisory model with CRNAs (minimal own cases)
  • Bread-and-butter community hospital case mix including OB, general, and some thoracic
  • No cardiac cases (cardiac program launching soon)
  • Steady, manageable workload in a collegial environment

Schedule & Call

  • 3 weeks of standard schedule (primarily Monday–Friday)
  • Weekend rotation: 1 in 5 weekends
  • 1:5 call structure with home call model
    • Monday–Friday: 4 PM – 7 AM (from home)
    • Weekend: 7 PM – 7 AM (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Post-call benefit: Entire following week off

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology – New graduates welcome
  • Completion of ACGME/AOA-accredited residency program
  • Unrestricted FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA
  • MD/DO
