We're seeking a Hematology & Oncology physician to provide outpatient clinical care in Prestonsburg, KY for a one-year locum tenens assignment. This position runs from November 1, 2026 through October 31, 2027 (52 weeks), Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Why this role matters:
You’ll deliver comprehensive hematology and oncology care in an outpatient setting and support the clinic’s continuity of services as supplemental coverage. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and adjust individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s progress.

What you’ll be doing:

• See and manage outpatient hematology/oncology patients, providing evidence-based care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patient response and modify therapies as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in line with facility standards.
• Provide clinical consultations and specialist input on oncology cases.
