Job Summary:
Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas, TX is seeking a Chief of Pediatric Cardiology. The successful candidate will be a recognized leader in pediatric cardiology and will be responsible for the ongoing growth and development of our congenital heart center through strategic planning, technology adoption, and innovation.Qualified Candidates:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Unrestricted Texas medical license
- Board certified in Pediatric Cardiology with leadership experience
- Dynamic leader committed to quality improvement, team building, and further development of community partnerships.
About the Congenital Heart Center:
- Recent extensive expansion with a new 25-bed cardiac intensive care unit, two new state-of-the-art hybrid cardiac catheterization laboratories, one new EP lab, and 12-bed cardiac stepdown unit.
- Performs over 250 cardiac surgeries, 300 diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization cases, and 50 EP procedures annually
- Physician staff includes 17 pediatric cardiologists, 8 cardiac intensivists, 4 cardiac anesthesiologists, and 2 cardiothoracic surgeons, who are well supported by a robust advanced practitioner team
- Fetal cardiology program with dedicated RN fetal coordinator
- Pediatric cardiologists positioned in outreach locations within the DFW metroplex, in addition to markets covering a large portion of North Texas
- Outstanding partnership with the Medical City Heart and Spine Hospital for care of our complex adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) patients
