**Locums | Hand Surgery | Call Only | Lansing, MI**
**Why This Role**
- Low-volume call with high compensation potential
- Level I trauma center with strong support team
- Flexible scheduling (~10 days/month)
**Assignment Details**
- Start: ASAP
- End: December 2026
- Schedule: 24-hour call (7a–7a)
- Coverage: Call Only
- Practice setting: Inpatient / Trauma
- Facility: Level I Trauma Center
**Clinical Details**
- ~1–3 surgical cases per month (seasonal variation)
- ~90,000 annual ER volume
- Ages 15+ (adolescent–geriatric)
- Hand trauma consults, procedures, and follow-ups
- Clinic follow-ups minimal and as needed
- Trauma team support available
**Requirements**
- Board Certified (Orthopedic, Plastic, or General Surgery)
- Hand Surgery Fellowship required
- Active Michigan license (full license required)
- BLS & ACLS preferred
- NPDB (within 30 days)
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Included in rates
- Travel: Reimbursed
