Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (13-week Windsor, VA) — Competitive $1,922/35-hr Rate

We’re seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week contract in Windsor, VA, starting ASAP. This role is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation is $1,922/35-hours for travel clinicians and $1,894/35-hours for local clinicians.

What you’ll need:

• A valid, active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

What you’ll be doing:

• Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Use clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing to determine the type and severity of communication issues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s goals and needs.
• Provide therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice quality, comprehension, and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia, teaching safe swallowing techniques and strategies.
• Recommend and provide training on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on home programs, strategies, and exercises to support carryover of skills.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting plans as needed.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to support whole-person care.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date records including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Help patients generalize improved communication skills to daily routines, school, or work settings.
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
