Join a contract, non-travel opportunity as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Exeter, NH. Start ASAP for a 7-week assignment working evening/night shifts (07:00 PM–07:30 AM). Compensation: Local rate $1,325 per 36 hours.

Required credentials:

  • Active LPN license in the state of New Hampshire
  • BLS certification

Core responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care under RN/physician direction, including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring.
  • Perform focused patient assessments (physical exam, history, medication review) and contribute to individualized care plans.
  • Administer prescribed treatments and medications accurately, document interventions, and monitor for therapeutic effect and adverse reactions.
  • Evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor wounds and surgical sites for infection or complications.
  • Collect patient specimens (blood, urine, sputum) and maintain accurate clinical documentation of condition changes and treatments.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, self-care, and preventive health measures.
  • Maintain infection control practices, safe medication handling, and appropriate disposal of medical supplies.
  • Assist with patient comfort, mobility, positioning, and basic pain management; respond appropriately to medical emergencies and provide basic life support as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (RNs, physicians, therapists, support staff) to ensure coordinated care.
  • When assigned, supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel to support quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with nursing standards and facility policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
