LPN/LVN - Long-Term Care (Santa Fe, NM) | 10-Week Contract, $1,008/36 hrs, Day Shift

We’re seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a Santa Fe, NM team on a 10-week contract starting ASAP. This role follows a Tue–Thu schedule (06:00 AM–06:30 PM) and pays $1,008 for 36 hours. It’s a non-travel contract position that will let you practice hands-on nursing while working closely with RNs, physicians, and the rest of the care team.

You’ll be responsible for providing direct patient care—medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, vital sign monitoring, and specimen collection—while accurately documenting assessments, treatments, and changes in condition. You’ll perform patient assessments (history, physical, medications) to support individualized care plans, teach patients and families about diagnoses and self-care, and promote preventive health measures like vaccinations and screenings. Infection control, safe handling and disposal of medications and supplies, and patient advocacy are essential. You’ll also respond to emergencies following protocols and provide basic life support when needed. In some settings you may supervise CNAs or other unlicensed assistive personnel and will take on other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements: a valid, active Licensed Practical Nurse state license and current BLS certification.
