LPN/LVN Nights (SunTue) in Santa Fe | 14Week LTC Contract, $1,116/36hrs

Join a supportive team in Santa Fe, NM for a 14-week contract starting ASAP. You’ll work evenings into early mornings (Sun–Tue, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM) in a local, non-travel position. Compensation: $1,116 per 36-hour week.

What we need

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for the state.
• Current BLS certification.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians, helping keep patients safe, comfortable, and progressing in their recovery. Typical duties include:

• Performing focused assessments (vitals, physical checks, med history) and documenting changes in condition.
• Administering medications, IV fluids, and treatments accurately and according to protocol.
• Caring for wounds and surgical sites—cleaning, dressing, and watching for signs of infection or complications.
• Managing urinary catheters and monitoring for issues.
• Collecting specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for lab testing.
• Recording thorough, timely patient notes about treatments and responses.
• Teaching patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and self-care to support overall wellness.
• Responding to emergencies and providing basic life support as needed.
• Following infection control practices and using PPE correctly.
• Safely handling, storing, and disposing of medications and supplies.
• Promoting preventive care, advocating for patients’ rights, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team (RNs, physicians, therapists, support staff).
• Occasionally supervising CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when needed.
• Staying current with nursing best practices through ongoing education.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
