Contract Physical Therapist (PT) — Vallejo, CA (14-week Travel/Local)

We’re looking for a licensed Physical Therapist to join a team in Vallejo, CA for a 14-week contract starting ASAP. This is a full-time travel opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule (Sun–Sat coverage with hours 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and competitive pay (Travel: $2,317/35-hrs; Local: $2,282/35-hrs).

What you’ll bring:

• Current, active Physical Therapy state license.
• CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

What you’ll do:
You’ll perform thorough evaluations—reviewing medical histories and working closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists—to create individualized rehab plans. Your day-to-day will include developing measurable goals and hands-on treatment to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function. You’ll use a mix of therapeutic exercises, manual techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching), and modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate.

You’ll also:

• Teach patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, safe body mechanics, and injury prevention.
• Fit and instruct patients in the safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
• Create and prescribe home exercise programs to support carryover and long-term recovery.
• Monitor and document progress, revising plans as needed to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Communicate regularly with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate, timely records and follow ethical, legal, and cultural-sensitivity standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
