We’re looking for a licensed Physical Therapist to join a team in Winchester, NH for a 14-week contract starting ASAP. This role is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Compensation:

  • Travel rate: $1,505 / 35 hours
  • Local rate: $1,484 / 35 hours

What we need from you:

  • A valid, active Physical Therapy state license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform thorough physical assessments and review medical histories to understand each patient’s needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to create coordinated care plans.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable rehabilitation goals.
  • Design and lead exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Use hands-on techniques—joint mobilization, soft tissue work, manual stretching—to improve mobility and reduce pain.
  • Apply therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold to support pain relief and tissue healing.
  • Instruct patients in the safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) to maximize independence.
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
  • Create and adjust pain management strategies using therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual therapy.
  • Help patients regain independence after surgery, injury, or illness and improve overall quality of life.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, updating treatment plans as needed.
  • Deliver personalized home exercise programs to support continued recovery outside of sessions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely records of assessments, treatments, progress notes, and changes in condition.
  • Uphold ethical and legal standards, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
  • Provide culturally sensitive care that responds to diverse patient backgrounds.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
