Requirements:

• Current, active Physical Therapy license for the practicing state
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included)

Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 14-week contract in Lancaster, NH. The role involves evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating patients across a variety of conditions to restore function, reduce pain, and promote independence.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and review medical histories to identify patient needs and establish measurable rehab goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination
• Deliver hands-on interventions (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, manual stretching) and use modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate
• Instruct and fit patients with assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and provide education on body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention
• Create and monitor home exercise programs to support continued progress
• Assess, document, and adjust treatment based on patient response and goal attainment
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other members of the care team
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards
• Provide culturally sensitive care and obtain informed consent; perform additional duties as assigned by management

This position requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to rehabilitation.
