Contract, non-travel opportunity in Franklin, NH — Start ASAP | 9 weeks | Schedule: 08:00 AM–04:30 PM | Local rate: $2,360/40 hrs

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Nurse Unit Manager on a 9-week contract. In this leadership role you will oversee daily clinical operations, ensure safe, patient-centered care, and support professional development among nursing staff.

Requirements:

• Active, valid Registered Nurse state license
• Prior nursing leadership experience
• BLS certification

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure adherence to policies and best practices
• Oversee patient care activities including assessments, medication administration, documentation, and timely adjustments to care plans
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to meet patient care needs efficiently
• Provide coaching, education, and performance feedback to support staff development
• Monitor regulatory compliance and quality standards; conduct audits and implement improvements
• Facilitate interdisciplinary communication to coordinate care across the healthcare team
• Advocate for patients, address concerns, and promote a patient-centered environment
• Respond to medical emergencies per established protocols
• Ensure accurate, timely electronic health record documentation
• Stay current with healthcare regulations and ensure team compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management
