Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled Physical Therapist to join a team in Lebanon, NH on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, and compensation is competitive (Travel: $2,121/35-hrs; Local: $2,090/35-hrs).

To be considered you must hold a valid, active Physical Therapy state license and maintain current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

In this role you’ll:

  • Perform thorough physical assessments and review medical histories, coordinating with the healthcare team to understand each patient’s needs.
  • Build individualized treatment plans with clear rehabilitation goals and adjust them as patients progress.
  • Create and lead targeted exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Use hands-on techniques—joint mobilization, soft tissue work, and manual stretching—to improve mobility and relieve pain.
  • Apply therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold to reduce pain and support healing.
  • Train patients in safe and effective use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
  • Develop and implement pain-management strategies using therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual techniques.
  • Help patients regain independence after surgery, injury, or illness to improve overall quality of life.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, update treatment plans accordingly, and provide personalized home exercise programs to support recovery.
  • Communicate clearly with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to optimize care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records, follow legal and ethical standards (including confidentiality and informed consent), and provide culturally sensitive care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
