LPN/LVN 5-Week Night Shift in Siler City, NC | $976/36 hrs, Long-Term Care Contract

We’re seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a 5-week contract in Siler City, NC — start ASAP. This is a local, non-travel position working the evening/night shift (07:00 PM–07:30 AM). Pay: $976 per 36-hour week.

What we need from you

• Current, active LPN license for the state of North Carolina
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

What you’ll be doing
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians. Typical duties include administering medications and IVs, performing wound care, monitoring and documenting vital signs, and carrying out thorough patient assessments to help shape individualized care plans. You’ll collect specimens for lab testing, care for urinary catheters, and assist with mobility, positioning, and pain management to maintain patient comfort and safety.

Communication and teamwork are important — you’ll coordinate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff, educate patients and families about conditions and self-care, and advocate for patients’ needs. You’ll also respond to emergencies as needed and follow infection-control and medication-handling protocols at all times.

Additional responsibilities

• Keep accurate, up-to-date patient records and report changes in condition
• Monitor IV lines and administer prescribed IV medications/fluids safely
• Evaluate and manage wounds, watching for infection or complications
• Supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when required
• Promote preventive care (vaccinations, screenings) and participate in ongoing professional development
• Other duties as assigned by management
