We’re looking for a Physical Therapist to join a team in Clarksdale, MS for a 14‑week contract starting ASAP. This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel pay $2,244/35‑hour week; Local pay $2,212/35‑hour week.

What we need from you

  • Current, active Physical Therapy state license.
  • CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

What you’ll be doing

  • Perform thorough physical assessments, review medical history, and work closely with other clinicians to understand each patient’s needs.
  • Create individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals for rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Design and supervise tailored exercise programs to build strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Use hands‑on techniques—joint mobilization, soft tissue work, and manual stretching—to improve mobility and reduce pain.
  • Apply therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold to control pain and support tissue healing.
  • Instruct patients in safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) to maximize functional mobility.
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, body mechanics, and injury prevention.
  • Develop and adjust pain‑management strategies combining therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual techniques.
  • Help patients regain independence after surgery, injury, or illness, focusing on quality of life and functional outcomes.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, revise plans as needed, and communicate changes with the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records—assessments, treatment notes, progress, and any condition changes.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards, protect patient confidentiality, and obtain informed consent.
  • Provide culturally sensitive care and respond to the diverse needs of the patient population.
