Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a contract/travel night assignment (7p–7a) in Newport, VT. This role supports the Medical-Surgical/Progressive Care Unit (MSU/PCU) on an ASAP start; schedule is 36 hours per week with a pay rate of $2,308/36-hours.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform focused assessments and ongoing monitoring of patient condition and vital signs.
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient status, escalating care as needed.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and self-care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Clinical experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or progressive care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and clear communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred for PCU-level patients.
