Locum Tenens Family Nurse Practitioner — Outpatient, Pediatrics/Adults, Chronic Pain (Crescent City, CA)

We’re looking for a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join a friendly outpatient clinic in Crescent City, CA, on a locum tenens basis with an ASAP start and ongoing coverage. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., covering a mixed pediatric and adult primary care panel (about 18 patients/day) and managing chronic pain within the outpatient setting. This role is covering a vacancy while the facility conducts a long-term permanent search. Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage are provided by the agency.

You’ll use Epic for charting and work closely with one RN and two MAs. Timely documentation is important—chart closure should be completed within 72 hours. Hospital privileges or temporary privileges are not required; expect a credentialing timeline of roughly 45–60 days.

Requirements: California NP license, active DEA, BLS and PALS certification, and at least three years of experience in a similar panel-management outpatient setting. Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine is required.
