Job Summary:

TriStar Centennial Medical Center and Centennial Heart Cardiovascular Consultants are seeking an advanced practice provider with experience in post procedural interventional cardiology care in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Qualified Candidates:

• Nurse practitioner or physician assistant certification
• Tennessee licensure or ability to obtain
• Ability to work independently
• Full time, 4 10-hour shifts, M-F
• Ability to also see patients independently in clinic preferred
• Critical care or previous cardiology nursing experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct early and longitudinal follow up after PCI and advanced coronary intervention
• Ensure adherence to dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT), statins, and guideline -directed medical therapy
• Monitor post procedural recovery and evaluate access-site or wound concerns
• Facilitate cardiac rehab and secondary prevention initiatives
• Assist with GLP-1, PCSK9 inhibitor, and advanced therapy authorization/titration
• Support refractory angina, CTO, ISR, and surgical turndown pathways
• Coordinate clinical trial screening and follow-up
• Review follow-up echocardiograms and coordinate heart failure referrals when appropriate
• Ensure communication and transition planning with referring physicians
