Locum General Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Twin Falls, ID (Level III Trauma; $4,050/Shift)

A healthcare facility in Twin Falls, ID seeks a Locums General Orthopedic Surgery physician to provide coverage at a Level III Trauma Center. This role involves managing acute orthopedic trauma in both the emergency department and inpatient settings, collaborating closely with emergency medicine, trauma surgery, hospitalists, and advanced practice providers.

Compensation: $4,050 per shift

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with traumatic musculoskeletal injuries in a Level III trauma center
• Provide operative and non-operative fracture management and related orthopedic procedures
• Offer timely consultations for emergency department and inpatient cases
• Participate in trauma call coverage as part of the orthopedic team
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma preferred
• Eligible for Idaho medical licensure
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to manage complex trauma cases
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
