Locum General Orthopedic Surgeon — Orthopedic Trauma (Level III Trauma Center) | Twin Falls, ID

A healthcare facility in Twin Falls, ID is seeking a Locums General Orthopedic Surgeon to provide coverage at a Level III Trauma Center. The role focuses on management of acute orthopedic trauma in collaboration with surgical and emergency medicine teams.

Compensation

• $4,050 per shift

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute musculoskeletal and traumatic orthopedic injuries in the emergency department and inpatient settings
• Perform operative and non-operative fracture management and related orthopedic procedures
• Provide consultations for ED and inpatient cases
• Participate in trauma call coverage as part of the orthopedic team
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, trauma surgeons, hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and surgical support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to patient safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma preferred
• Eligible for Idaho medical licensure
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex trauma cases
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
