Who we’re looking for

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or equivalent boards (ABFM, ABIM, American Board of Physician Specialties, AOA/DO)
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license
• DEA/CDS: Active DEA with a Tennessee address, covering schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4 & 5
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (NRP required for non-ABEM providers)
• Experience: Residency trained (3 years); new graduates within the past 12 months are welcome to apply

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care for an ED with ~24,000 annual visits
• Supervise and collaborate with NPs and PAs as part of the coverage model
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in Epic
• Work within a team-based coverage structure that pairs physician and APP coverage to meet patient needs
