Rate: Local $33.90/hr; Travel $34.40/hr
Requirements:
- Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Registry personnel must present a state or federal photo ID at the facility and wear a photo badge at all times.
- Agency staff must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccination series or provide documented medical or religious exemption from their employer. Additional doses required where mandated by law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments; administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Manage wound care: evaluate, clean, dress wounds, and monitor for infection or complications.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide patient/family education on conditions and self-care.
- Respond promptly in medical emergencies and follow infection control and facility protocols.
