Assignment: LOCAL ONLY
Required credentials
- Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
- BLS certification
- Registry personnel must bring state or federal photo ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
- Agency staff must have completed initial or updated COVID-19 vaccination or provide documented medical or religious exemption from their employer; additional doses required where mandated by law
Primary duties
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments
- Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection or complications
- Monitor and document vital signs continuously as indicated
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide patient/family education on conditions and self-care
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow infection control protocols
