Patient Volume & Case Mix:
- Average daily volume: ~20 patients/day
- Case mix: Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care
Facility & Support:
- EMR: Epic
- Specialty backup: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Hospitalist team, Telestroke, Tele-ICU
- Support staff: RNs, MAs, APPs, office staff
- Helicopter transport available for critical transfers
Privileges & Compliance:
- Hospital privileges: Not required
- Temporary privileges: Available
Requirements:
- Board certification: BC required
- Licensure: Wisconsin license or IMLC compact
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS
Duties:
- Provide emergency and urgent care in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and specialty backup services
- Use Telestroke and Tele-ICU as indicated
- Coordinate critical transfers, including helicopter transport
- Document patient care accurately and timely in Epic
