Patient Volume & Case Mix:

• Average daily volume: ~20 patients/day
• Case mix: Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care

Clinical Duties:

• Provide clinical care in ED/UC setting during 12-hour shifts.
• Manage patient census consistent with department volume (approx. 40–60 patients per 24 hours).
• Use Epic for documentation.
• Coordinate care with on-site specialties (General Surgery, Orthopedics), Hospitalist team, RNs, MAs, APPs, and office staff.
• Access Telestroke and Tele-ICU services as needed.
• Coordinate patient transport with on-site UW helicopter if required.

Privileges & Compliance:

• Hospital privileges not required; temporary privileges available.

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certified (BC) required
• WI license or IMLC compact license
• ACLS and PALS certifications
