Travel RN - Operating Room (Perioperative) — St. Johnsbury, VT (Contract)

Assignment: Contract/Travel — Start: ASAP
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Rate: $2,424 per 40-hour week

Required qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• BLS certification
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and effective communication
• Perioperative/OR nursing experience preferred
• CNOR or other perioperative specialty certifications preferred

Primary responsibilities

• Prepare patients, instruments, and the operating room environment for surgical procedures
• Serve as circulating nurse or scrub role as assigned; assist the surgical team throughout procedures
• Monitor patient condition, administer medications per protocol, and maintain sterile technique
• Accurately document perioperative care and ensure compliance with institutional policies and protocols
• Provide education to patients and families regarding preoperative and postoperative care
