Key responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms, sterile instruments, and supplies for surgical cases.
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff by passing instruments and maintaining sterile technique.
- Monitor surgical equipment performance and troubleshoot basic issues.
- Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies throughout procedures.
- Document procedural details and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
- Prior experience in perioperative or surgical settings preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and teamwork skills.
- BLS certification preferred.
