Join a contract travel team in Glenwood Springs, CO, providing specialized nursing care in radiation oncology. This position starts ASAP, offers $2,383 per 36-hour week, and supports patients through all phases of radiation therapy.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license and graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BLS required
• Oncology or radiation therapy experience preferred; OCN certification a plus
• Strong clinical assessment, patient education, and communication skills

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to patients receiving radiation therapy, including assessments and ongoing monitoring of treatment tolerance
• Manage symptoms and treatment-related side effects; administer medications and supportive therapies as ordered
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side-effect management, and follow-up care
• Coordinate with radiation oncologists and the multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure cohesive care
• Monitor and document patient progress, report changes in condition, and accurately record interventions and responses in the EMR
