Float Pool RN (CPCU/ICU/Med-Surg/Telemetry) — Night Contract/Travel — Rockford, IL

We’re seeking a flexible, experienced RN to join a Rockford, IL team on a contract/travel assignment. You’ll work nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) in a float-pool capacity—covering ICU/CPCU, med-surg, and telemetry as needed. This is an ASAP start for a 36-hour assignment with a pay rate of $2,207.

What you’ll be doing

• Quickly assess and monitor patients across different units, adjusting care as conditions change.
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and acute changes in patient status.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and self-management.
• Communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to varying unit workflows.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience in critical care, med-surg, telemetry, or float-pool nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking abilities, and clear communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred for critical care assignments.
