Summary:
Provide medical-surgical nursing care on a contract/travel assignment. Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments, document care, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in practicing state
• Medical-surgical experience preferred
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (based on patient population)
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient condition and vital signs regularly
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions
• Accurately document care and report changes in patient status to the healthcare team
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize patient care
