Join a 42-week contract in Federal Way, WA, starting ASAP. Full-time schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Compensation: Travel: $2,424/40 hrs; Local: $2,388/40 hrs. Must hold a valid, active state license for Speech-Language Pathology.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function.
  • Diagnose communication and swallowing disorders using clinical assessment and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension and expression.
  • Assess and treat dysphagia; teach safe swallowing techniques.
  • Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies, home exercises, and carryover techniques.
  • Monitor, document, and revise treatment progress and goals; maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care.
  • Facilitate skill generalization for functional communication at home, school, and work.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current in best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
