Travel LPN 14-Week Nights in Franconia, NH | Competitive Travel & Local Rates

We’re seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a 14-week contract in Franconia, NH, starting ASAP. This is a travel opportunity with 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Pay is $1,472 per 36 hours for travel; local rate $1,274 per 36 hours.

What we need from you

• Current, active LPN state license
• BLS certification

What you’ll do
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under RN or physician direction, using clinical judgment and strong communication to keep patients safe and comfortable. Typical duties include:

• Performing patient assessments (physical exams, histories, medication reviews) and helping develop individualized care plans
• Administering medications and prescribed treatments accurately and following protocols
• Monitoring and documenting vital signs and changes in condition
• Managing wound care, dressings, and watching for signs of infection or complications
• Starting and monitoring IVs and administering IV medications and fluids as appropriate
• Caring for patients with urinary catheters (insertion, maintenance, and monitoring)
• Collecting lab specimens (blood, urine, sputum) and ensuring proper labeling and handling
• Maintaining precise patient records of treatments, medications, and condition changes
• Educating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care
• Assisting with mobility, positioning, pain management, and general comfort needs
• Responding to emergencies and providing basic life support as needed
• Following infection control practices, safe medication handling, and proper disposal procedures
• Promoting preventive care (vaccinations, screenings) and advocating for patient needs
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team—RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff—to coordinate care
• Occasionally supervising CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel, when required
• Participating in ongoing education to stay current with best practices
• Performing other duties as assigned by management
