Local contract opportunity in Lanham, MD starting Jun 08, 2026 — 14 weeks. Full-week schedule (Sun–Sat). Compensation: Local PPW $1505/35 hours; hourly rate $43.
Requirements:
- Active, valid Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.
- Registry personnel must present state or federal photo ID at facility entry and wear a facility photo badge at all times.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Occupational Therapist in evaluating patients to determine physical and functional limitations.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and activities to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living.
- Instruct patients and caregivers on safe use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of treatments, progress, and changes in condition.
- Follow safety and infection-control protocols to ensure a secure therapy environment.
