Contract RN opportunity in Hilo, HI (96720) — 13-week assignment beginning July 13, 2026. Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15), 36 hours/week after first-week orientation (hours not guaranteed). One position available. Compensation: $1,944 per 36-hour week (travel).

Required qualifications:

  • Active Hawaii RN license by assignment start (applicants without a current HI license must apply upon accepting the offer).
  • Proof of immunity required; medical or religious exemptions are not accepted.
  • 2–10 years’ RN experience; minimum 2 years preferred.
  • Current BLS; ACLS required. Preferred/desired certifications: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC.

Role summary:

  • Serve as a Float RN, providing nursing care across medical and surgical units.
  • Float assignments primarily include the Medical Unit and Laulima Unit; occasional float to the Cardiovascular Unit.
  • Deliver safe, patient-centered care consistent with unit standards and facility policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across assigned units.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care while adapting to varied clinical settings.
  • Maintain required certifications and documentation.
  • Follow facility protocols for patient safety, medication administration, and emergency response.
