Rate: Local PPW: $1995/35 hrs | Local: $57/hr
Required Credentials
- Active, valid Occupational Therapy state license.
- CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross (including AED).
Primary Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and home/environmental factors to determine limitations and establish measurable goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic techniques to improve daily living skills and functional independence.
- Recommend, train in, and monitor use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
- Educate patients and families on strategies for managing conditions and promoting independence.
- Document assessments, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes; communicate and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
