We’re seeking a board-certified cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Potsdam, NY, working across outpatient clinic and hospital settings. This role runs from August 17, 2026 through February 15, 2027 and combines scheduled clinic shifts with on-call responsibilities.

Schedule and Coverage

• Clinical: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., roughly three weeks per month (approximately three clinic days per week).
• Stress testing supervision: about one day per week.
• On-call: as needed, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.
• Hospital consults: performed on an ad hoc basis.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient cardiology care in the clinic setting.
• Supervise and interpret stress tests; reading the nuclear portion of stress tests is required (preference for physicians experienced with nuclear stress imaging).
• Cover hospital consult service when requested.
• Participate in on-call coverage per the schedule above.

Requirements

• Active New York medical license.
• Board certified in Cardiology.
• Board certification or demonstrated competency to read cardiac imaging studies; nuclear stress test experience preferred.
• AHA or RQI certification.
• Minimum of about 5 years’ clinical experience preferred.
