Join a busy Cardiac Cath Lab team in Carbondale, IL as a contract Registered Nurse. This day-shift role runs 7:00 AM–5:30 PM and starts ASAP. You’ll work 36-hour weeks for a pay rate of $2,941 per 36 hours.

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and assist throughout procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and cardiac status before, during, and after interventions.
• Administer medications and contrast agents per orders.
• Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and families about the procedure, recovery expectations, and follow-up care.
• Accurately document care, procedural details, and patient outcomes.
• Communicate and collaborate closely with cardiologists, techs, and the rest of the care team to ensure smooth, safe patient care.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience in cardiac care, cath lab, or critical care is preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and clear communication skills.
