Job Description
Join a national telehealth team based in Orlando, Florida, delivering expert, compassionate care to patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders through a fully virtual model. You will perform comprehensive tele-neurology evaluations, manage complex neurodegenerative conditions, and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team—including APPs, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators—to ensure patient-centered outcomes. As a clinical leader, you will supervise APPs across multiple states and uphold clinical and telehealth quality standards.
Compensation & benefits: $260,000–$276,000 plus full benefits.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual cognitive and neurologic assessments, diagnose and manage dementia and related disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including monitoring for emerging therapies.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, support families, and optimize outcomes.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to APPs across states and ensure adherence to telehealth protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.
Minimum qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completed Neurology residency.
- Board certified in Neurology.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience managing memory or cognitive disorders.
- Proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurologic assessment.
- Strong clinical skills in cognitive evaluation, dementia management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to empathetic, patient-centered care.
Preferred qualifications:
- Fellowship training in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience supervising APPs in telehealth or multi-state practice models.
- Familiarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and other emerging Alzheimer’s treatments.
- Experience in integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care settings.
