Remote Telehealth Cognitive & Behavioral Neurologist — Nationwide (Telemedicine)

Provide fully virtual specialty neurology care for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders, expanding access nationwide.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive tele-neurology evaluations and ongoing management of neurodegenerative and cognitive disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and care coordination.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (APPs, behavioral health specialists, care coordinators) to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Supervise and mentor APPs across multiple states and ensure adherence to clinical and telehealth standards and protocols.
• Use telemedicine platforms to perform virtual neurological assessments, document care, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams.
• Participate in quality improvement, case review, and professional development activities.

Compensation & benefits

• Salary range: $260,000–$276,000 plus full benefits.

Minimum requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency.
• Board Certification in Neurology.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferred.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience managing memory or cognitive disorders.
• Demonstrated proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurological assessment techniques.
• Strong clinical skills in cognitive evaluation, dementia management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in virtual care settings.
• Commitment to empathetic, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.

Preferred qualifications

• Fellowship training in Behavioral/Cognitive or Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology.
• Prior experience supervising APPs in a telehealth or multi-state practice.
• Familiarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and other emerging Alzheimer’s treatments.
• Experience in integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care models.
