Join a busy Level II Trauma Center in El Paso, TX as a Locums Trauma/Acute Care Surgery physician. What you’ll do

• Provide trauma and acute care surgery coverage, including participation in trauma activations.
• Evaluate and manage traumatic injuries and emergency surgical conditions.
• Perform emergency operative procedures when indicated.
• Oversee preoperative, operative, and postoperative patient care.
• Collaborate closely with emergency medicine, critical care, APPs, and the multidisciplinary trauma team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR.

Who we’re looking for

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery with trauma/ACS experience.
• Active Texas medical license preferred.
• ATLS certification required; ACLS and BLS preferred.
