Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or PA — Lead Provider (Auburn, ME)

We’re looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to step into a Lead Provider role at our urgent care in Auburn, ME. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced APP who loves hands-on patient care and also wants to lead, mentor, and support a busy clinical team. You’ll be the on-site clinical leader, helping ensure excellent, evidence-based care while creating a collaborative, efficient, and safe environment for patients and staff.

What you’ll do:

• Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages.
• Serve as the clinical lead for on-site staff, setting and maintaining high clinical standards.
• Mentor and support new graduates, NPs/PAs, and other allied health professionals.
• Promote evidence-based practice and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Ensure regulatory and quality compliance across the site.

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Certification from an appropriate NP or PA certifying body.
• Active Maine license or eligibility for licensure (and ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted DEA).
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is strongly preferred.
• Leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is a plus.

Compensation & benefits:

• Hourly rate: $80.00–$85.00
