Physician-led practice in Phoenix seeks a fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeon to support a high-acuity, hospital-based trauma center. The practice emphasizes predictable scheduling, strong clinical support, and focused surgical care within collaborative teams.

Schedule

• 183 total 24-hour shifts annually
• Blocked scheduling with 7-day rotations
• Built-in recovery time between rotations

Clinical responsibilities

• Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients
• Participate in trauma call coverage
• Manage complex fracture care, including pelvic and acetabular injuries
• Coordinate care with trauma surgery, ICU, and emergency medicine teams
• Balance operative cases, inpatient service, and follow-up clinic
• Maintain timely documentation and deliver patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Completion of an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship
• Experience with high-acuity trauma preferred
• Pelvic and acetabular fracture expertise strongly preferred
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure and able to obtain hospital privileges
