Not-for-profit, multi-specialty physician group and hospital located 20 miles south of Boston, MA, seeking a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the behavioral health team.

Overview
Provide patient-centered psychiatric care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. Deliver comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care for adults with a range of mental health conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
• Manage psychotropic medications and monitor response and side effects.
• Provide ongoing outpatient psychiatric follow-up and crisis assessment as needed.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other care team members.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and medication adherence.
• Maintain accurate medical records and participate in multidisciplinary case reviews.

Minimum qualifications

• Current Massachusetts license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health NP or PA-C with relevant psychiatric experience.
• 1–2 years of psychiatry/behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
