Remote Locums Tele-Neurology Physician — Board-Certified/Eligible (Flexible Shifts)

We are hiring Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologists for a fully remote locum tenens tele-neurology role based in Tampa, Florida, supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. This position delivers real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, via a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with comprehensive clinical and technical support. It’s ideal for physicians seeking supplemental work or a long-term telemedicine practice with flexible scheduling.

Position highlights:

• 100% remote telemedicine (work from home)

Key responsibilities:

• Provide remote neurologic consultation to emergency and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke patients and advise on thrombolytic and endovascular treatment decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time and collaborate with on-site clinicians on treatment plans
• Document encounters accurately in the EMR

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with Neurology Board-Certified or Board-Eligible status
• Stroke experience preferred; vascular neurology fellowship a plus
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support available)
• Candidates with licenses already in hand for FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, or CA are preferred
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
