Remote Pediatric & Adolescent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PA)

We are hiring a remote Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver evidence-based psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults. This fully remote role emphasizes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, individualized treatment planning, and medication management within a collaborative, supportive clinical team. It is well suited to clinicians with pediatric/adolescent experience who value flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful impact through virtual care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and diagnose mental health conditions across pediatric and young adult populations (ages 2+).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and follow-up.
• Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care via telehealth platforms.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and coordinate care with families and external providers.
• Document encounters accurately in the electronic health record and maintain regulatory/prescriptive compliance.

Schedule

• Part-time, 20 hours per week.
• Must be available during peak after-school hours (after 3:00 PM ET weekdays) and/or anytime on weekends.
• Opportunity to pick up additional hours at $100+/hour.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or equivalent.
• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania NP license (PMHNP/CRNP/APN) and DEA registration with prescriptive authority.
• Minimum of 2 years of independent psychiatric practice post-licensure.
• Proven experience treating pediatric populations (ages 2+).
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms, EHRs, and digital clinical tools.
• Reliable computer, phone, and high-speed internet connection.
