Inpatient Attending Psychiatrist – Adult Program, Phoenix (9–10 Patients, Academic & PTO Benefits)

We’re hiring a full-time inpatient psychiatrist to join a large multi-specialty faculty practice group in Phoenix, Arizona. You’ll care for hospitalized adults with serious mental illness within a collaborative, team-based setting that values clinical excellence and education.

What you’ll do

• Serve on our Adult Inpatient Program caring for primarily involuntary admissions.
• Manage a caseload of about 9–10 patients with an average length of stay of roughly 22 days.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team—nurses, social workers, therapists, and more—to coordinate high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Opportunities to teach and mentor residents and medical students; faculty appointment available for eligible candidates.

Who we’re looking for

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Arizona medical license prior to starting.
