Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with an ENT background to join a thriving, established ENT practice in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio. This provider will work alongside a highly respected ENT physician in a busy outpatient practice, helping manage patient volume while the physician is in surgery.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable evaluating and managing ENT patients independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. Previous ENT experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of general ENT conditions
- Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, imaging, and hearing evaluations
- Work independently in clinic while the physician is performing surgical procedures
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience
Qualifications
- Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- Previous ENT experience required
- Physician Assistant preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in a busy outpatient setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Expected patient volume of approximately 20–25 patients per day once fully ramped up
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Competitive compensation based on experience
