Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — 8-Week Contract, Nights (2:30 PM11:00 PM) — Gardendale, AL

We’re looking for a caring and dependable LPN to join a team in Gardendale, AL on an 8-week contract starting June 2, 2026. This is a PM/overnight shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM) with competitive pay: Local PPW $960/40-hours or $24/hour.

What you’ll bring

• Active, valid LPN license for the state.
• Current BLS certification.
• A patient-first attitude and willingness to work under RN or physician direction.

What you’ll do day-to-day

• Provide direct nursing care to patients while collaborating with RNs and physicians.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and safely administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Manage wound care — evaluate, clean, dress wounds, and monitor for infection or other complications.
• Routinely monitor and document vital signs and other clinical observations.
• Keep accurate patient records and offer education to patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Respond quickly and calmly to medical emergencies and follow infection control protocols.
