Join a travel contract team in Tuba City, AZ (86045) as an experienced Emergency & Trauma Registered Nurse. Assignment begins Jul 13, 2026 for 11 weeks. Flexible scheduling includes days, evenings, nights and weekends. Two positions available. Compensation: $2,196 per 36-hour week (travel).

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years RN experience in emergency or trauma care
• American Heart Association: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) — must be obtained within 1 year of hire
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) — within 1 year of hire
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) — within 1 year of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — completed within 6 months of hire
• Emergency Severity Index Level 5 — within 3 months of hire
• Patient Sitter Competency Training — upon hire

Core Responsibilities

• Independently deliver a full range of emergency nursing care for patients of all ages, applying professional judgment to diverse clinical situations
• Implement physician orders and follow hospital policies, nursing standards, and protocols
• Provide patient- and family-centered support, documentation, and coordination of care within the emergency department

This role requires strong critical-thinking skills, adaptability across shifts, and demonstrated competence in emergency and pediatric trauma care.
